Tower 1 & Tower 2 – Proposal
1) Project overview
We’re proposing to install Digital Displays in the lobbies of Tower 1 and Tower 2.
These screens will help the Strata and community share updates more efficiently, while reducing the clutter and upkeep of printed posters.
2) Why we’re doing this
Printed notices are often:
- left up too long or forgotten
- time-consuming for staff to rotate and maintain
- harder for residents to notice consistently
Digital screens make communication clearer, quicker to update, and easier to keep up to date.
3) What’s included
For each tower lobby:
- 1 x 43-inch TV
- 1 x Wall TV Mount
- Hidden power outlet installed behind the TV (no visible cords; cannot be easily unplugged)
- Digital signage software (online portal for updates)
4) Proposed locations
Tower 1: Wall to the right of the elevator (large blank wall)
Tower 2: Wall to the right of the elevator
We did look at installing the TV in different locations, but the cost was too high. Example: Having monitors inside the elevators can be up to +10k per elevator.
5) TV size & screen content
Our priority is simplicity :
- Keeping the same format residents already recognize, using standard 8.5 x 11 PDF notices (easy reading from afar).
- We are also using a 43-inch TV that allows multiple notifications at a time
6) Who manages it
Management is designed to be lightweight:
- The software is web-based
- Council members can be given access (and removed anytime)
- With basic training, posting a notice can be as simple as uploading a PDF (or dropping it into a designated folder, depending on software setup)
